Measured building surveys
When works are proposed to existing building a measured building survey will be undertaken to establish the dimensions of the existing building in order to see how the proposal will work with the existing layout/building height. It is also necessary to provide existing drawings when planning permission is required.
Planning drawings
When planning permission is required JLC drafting ltd will produce the necessary drawings as required by the local authorities validation checklist for applications. This is usually a site plan, floor plans, elevations and sections, sometimes it may be necessary to produce street scenes depending on application type and local authority requirements.
Planning advice
For small projects JLC drafting ltd can advise on the information required for the planning process and produce planning statements, design and access statements and heritage statements as required.
Building Regulations
To comply with the governments approved documents (The Building Regulations) for all new buildings and works to existing buildings in England and Wales JLC drafting ltd can produce fully dimensioned and annotated drawings alongside a full specification of works suitable for building regulations approval.
Construction
JLC
drafting ltd can also provide fully detailed drawings and information suitable to build from. It may also be necessary to appoint subcontractors and coordinate their information which can also be included as part of this service.
